Halloween finish

I finished another project. This one took me 10 days to complete. It is called Ghosties Garden by Cathy Bussi. This is a pattern that I got from Cross Stitch and Needlework magazine that was published in September of 2006. The picture I took does not show all the detail but I hope it it good enough. The sign that the ghost is holding says Beastly Blooms in case you have a hard time reading the sign since it is tiny! I set a goal a while ago to get one project finished a month at best if I can. So far this year including this newest finish I have completed 12 cross stitch pieces. I have a few more picked out already that I am going to tackle. Later on today I will go through my patterns and figure out what to start next. I have to keep myself busy anyway. My son is having a sleepover tonight so I need to make sure I have something picked out to keep me busy since I will be stuck in my room while the boys have the living room to themselves! School starts here in town next week already so summer is quickly winding down. This month has been slow, but that is good as well. My dad was sick earlier this summer. He is better but may need more surgery in the fall and the doctor found a catarack in his left eye. So I guess I will see what the fall brings in that respect. Thanks for looking and happy stitching!
